you want pictures? i’ll give you pictures!

Hello!  It’s a partly sunny 80 degrees here in our fair neck of the woods … and i have a cold!  Haha.  But, I don’t really want to be sick right now … so I plan to dope myself up with cold medicine and pretend it isn’t happening! :) That’ll work, right???

But I am here!  Posting!  With pictures, even!! :) And it’s kind of a meandering post, catching you up in all that is going on here too.  So sit back with that iced latte and read up! :)

Ok … first … we got ourselves a puppy!  She is a black lab/aussie shepherd mix … and she’s going to be gigantic! Haha.  Right now she is all legs and feet … and, since I never had a dog, the process of puppy care is quite a fun and … eye-opening experience!  Sure is different than throwing a cat into a litter box one time and then being done with “training”  LOL.

Next up … I’ve been cooking!  Like real cooking!  With recipes and ingredients and everything! :p  I don’t have pictures of them but I’ve made 2 very successful trays of Baked Ziti – one with homemade meat sauce and one without – as well as Macaroni and Cheese.  The mac & cheese came out a bit bland … but Dave fixed it up good … and it was enjoyed!

And … I’ve been crafting.  I’ve been sick on and off for the last week … but in between that … I’ve been quite productive.  :)  Here are just a few photos of some things I’ve been working on … some things I can’t post pictures of on the off chance that they read my bloggy blog.  :)  So more pics are on deck in the coming weeks!

and … my crowning achievement … i FINALLY figured out how to make a little dress on my amigurumis!!!  This has been a months-long battle.  I am so pleased with how she came out, tho!  :)

i will be taking *limited* orders for these between now and Easter. Please message me or contact me if you would be interested in a bunny. I can also make bears, kitties, pandas and mice … girls or boys in any colors. The size shown is about 10″ tall and costs $30 an animal. :o)

so … i’m working on things!  i’m being productive!  and i have a few more Works In Progress that I will be able to unveil in a few weeks! :)

i still want to be doing more … but i think i am working in the right direction! :)  its so nice to sit back and see progress!

Well … I have a few more things I want to share … but my break is over so I need to get back to work!  But I will post again soon!  Enjoy the warmer weather!
